La National Book Foundation a annoncé sa liste des finalistes du National Book Award 2024. Cinq finalistes dans chacune des cinq catégories (fiction, non-fiction, poésie, littérature traduite et littérature jeunesse) seront nommés le 1ᵉʳ octobre. Les lauréats seront ensuite annoncés lors d'une cérémonie de remise des prix à New York le 20 novembre.
